The Veridocs Passport Validator devices scan and authenticate standard driver’s license size (ID-1/CR80) documents as well as passports (ICAO) and international documents (non-ICAO) from around the world. The Veridocs document library continues to grow daily accommodating over 2,500 unique ID types from around the world.
Product features include:
- Full page scanning of documents in ID-1 format (identification card), ID-2 format (visa, passport-card), ID-3 (passport) in white, UV, IR and co-axial light
- Reading textual information from machine-readable zone (OCR MRZ) and visual zone (OCR VIZ), reading 1D and 2D barcodes
- Retrieving data from contact and contactless smart-cards (SmartCard, RFID)
- Automatic verification of document security features and document data filling by analysis of textual, graphic and invisible (IPI) information in various light ranges.
